Picasso versus Rusiñol is a catalogue designed for the Picasso Museum. The arrival of Picasso in Barcelona led to a revolution in his painting, since he met Santiago Rusiñol: the modernist artist par excellence. We have sought to show this period in Picasso’s artistic life – a stage full of sketches, drawings and notes – through the Moleskine notebook format. With rounded corners, simple cover and its characteristic paper band, captures the essence of a notebook in which he sketches, copies and absorbs the modernism of Rusiñol and of Barcelona.
